1. Your 14 day right to cancel
If you book by email or online, you may cancel within 14 days of booking without giving a reason, and we will refund everything you have paid. If you ask us to start a service within those 14 days, such as your preview, and then cancel, you pay only for what has been provided.
2. Your Retainer
Your date is secured with a Retainer of 25% of your Total Fee, credited in full against your balance. If you cancel, it is used towards the cancellation charge, and anything above that charge is refunded.
3. If you cancel
The cancellation charge is a percentage of your Total Fee, based on the notice given: more than 12 months, 15%; 6 to 12 months, 25%; 3 to 6 months, 50%; 6 weeks to 3 months, 75%; and less than 6 weeks, 100%. We deduct any costs we save.
If we rebook your date with a booking of similar value, your charge reduces to 15%. For destination weddings, unrecoverable travel and accommodation already booked is payable in addition, with receipts shown.
4. Your preview
Your preview is free to move with 72 hours’ notice. With less notice, or if you do not attend, the preview fee is kept. Once your preview has taken place, its fee is not refundable.
5. Changes to your bridal party
Changes are free with 3 months’ notice. Within 3 months, the charge is 50% of that person’s fee. Within 6 weeks, the charge is 100%.
6. Postponing your wedding
One change of date is free with 6 months’ notice, subject to availability and the new date falling within 18 months. Otherwise, a 10% rebooking fee applies and payments transfer.
7. If we cannot attend
If Jessica cannot attend through serious illness or emergency, we offer an artist of equal experience, or a full refund including your Retainer.
8. Events beyond anyone’s control
We first move your booking free of charge. If that is not possible, we refund all payments, less itemised unrecoverable costs.
9. If something is not right
Tell us on the day if you can, or email within 14 days. If a service was not provided with reasonable care and skill, or as agreed, we will put it right or offer a fair price reduction, which may be a full refund of the service affected.
Your look is agreed at your preview. Where the finished look matches it, a change of preference on the day is not a fault, though we always adjust where time allows. Refunds are not given for normal wear over the day, weather, heat or tears, or time lost because a member of the party was not ready.
10. How refunds are paid
Refunds are paid within 14 days of becoming due, to your original payment method, with no deduction for our fees.
