J Marie Artistry provides private bridal beauty services from Sussex, throughout the UK and internationally. Our legal identity and contact details appear in the footer of every page.
What we collect
- Enquiry and contact details, including your name, email address and telephone number.
- Wedding details, including your date, location, timings, guest numbers and bridal party names and services.
- Skin, allergy and sensitivity information where you give explicit consent.
- Photographs you choose to upload, portal messages and documents connected with your commission.
- Website usage information only where you consent to analytics or marketing cookies.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To take steps at your request and provide agreed services under our contract with you.
- For our legitimate interests in administering the atelier, responding to enquiries, maintaining records and protecting our services.
- With your explicit consent, to care for your skin using the health information you provide.
- With your consent, to use photographs or send occasional news and availability updates.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with our hosting and database provider, email provider, payment provider, and the J Marie artists assigned to your wedding. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
- Applications that do not proceed: 12 months.
- Booking and payment records: 6 years for accounting and legal records.
- Skin and health information: deleted 3 months after your wedding.
- Private consultation photographs: deleted 3 months after your wedding.
- Images published with consent: until that consent is withdrawn, unless a shorter period is agreed.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, object to certain uses, and withdraw consent at any time. Some rights depend on the circumstances and legal basis. Contact us using the details in the footer.
